How the Deep Roots membership works:
We do health better!
Clients purchase a membership with a monthly fee and in exchange have access to care as needed, with no additional fee at the time of service. Even if you have health insurance you could still save money… how? If your plan has a high deductible and you have to pay out of pocket until you meet your deductible, our membership model allows you to pay a low monthly fee and have unlimited access to your provider. If you need to be seen 3 times in a month you do not have co-pays or office visit payments.
Included in the monthly fee are:
- Discounted basic screening labwork: CBC, CMP, Lipids, Thyroid panel, Iron panel
- Acute visits
- Tele-health visits
- Texting/phone visits
- Preventive care counseling
- Hormone health in-depth online course, The Strong Woman Program
- Members only access – contact provider via calls/texts at no extra charge Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
- On call access for members only outside of normal office hours (9-5, M-F) for an on-call fee of $40
- Members on-call hours: Monday-Friday 5pm-8-pm
- Saturday 8am-noon
- Sunday 1pm-4pm

Let’s get down to business
Here is what we do inside the membership starting with your first appointment…
Step One
Open the detox pathways
You have organs that are designed to process and remove waste and toxins from your body. We’re going to make sure that they’re working well and doing the job right! You can’t very well clean up the rest of your body and feel good if your detox organs are backed up or unable to do their job.
What are the detox organs? The liver, kidneys, colon, skin, and lymph system. And each cell of your body has detox processes that can get gummed up and not function right. This is a most important first step towards optimal health!
We’ll discuss this important step at your first appointment and you will also gain access in The Strong Woman online course material about how you can support your detox organs so that they are able to do their jobs right!
Step Two
Clean out the parasites
You worm your pets and livestock right? Don’t run away from this step. And guess what? The rest of the world does regular parasite cleanses. Somehow, we think that we’re clean because we use hand sanitizer and a cupboard full of cleaning agents.
Parasites are more than worms, they are also viruses, “bad” bacteria, fungus, and other mycotoxins. We need to get these out of our bodies because they steal nutrients from you and clog up systems all over the body! This then leads to random unpleasant symptoms that are often misdiagnosed and given a “band-aid” that doesn’t address the root of the problem.
Ridding your body of parasites is one of the steps we’ll take to address the root causes of health issues.
Step Three
Heal your Gut-Brain Axis
All disease begins in the gut. ~Hippocrates
It was true thousands of years ago and it’s still true today.
Women’s intestinal tract is different than men’s, add in our lifestyle of sitting, water sources, environmental hormone disruptors, not eating the right foods, eating the right foods but at the wrong time of day, not drinking enough water, viruses, parasites, mold exposure, too many “bad” bacteria overcoming the good, and the list goes on that lead to gut problems including a “leaky” gut which causes inflammation in other parts of the body, especially the nervous system.
The nervous system and gut are highly connected so learning to heal the nervous system and gut go hand-in-hand. Bottom line is – you need to heal both at the same time.
Inside The Strong Woman online course material is a plethora of information and practical steps you can take to heal your gut-brain axis.
Step Four
Start working with your natural cycles
Learn how to work with your hormonal cycle and create a daily lifestyle plan that helps you know how to eat and when, when to exercise, what type of exercise to do, foods that benefit your hormone cycles, and more.
Don’t have a cycle or your cycle is irregular? You’ll learn to create a plan to flow with the moon cycles.
Hormones a mess? We can do some more intensive tests to drill down on what’s going on inside your body. [Tests such as methylation, NutrEval, the Gut Zoomer 3.0 or DUTCH are additional costs.]
Inside The Strong Woman online course are several modules on how your different hormones function and how to support the hormone networks.

All the other womanly things
We’re also going to work on your sleep and circadian rhythm, bodywork, supporting your adrenal system, and all the common and not-so-common discomforts women have with the hormonal rollercoaster.
Stressed?
We’ll do a lot of talking about healthy ways to manage stress. Inside The Strong Woman online course material is help for you to create and incorporate a “First Aid Kit” for stress management for your life.
The Strong Woman Program
It’s been mentioned a couple of times already, here are more details: The Strong Woman Program is an online course that you will have access to inside the membership. The online course is made up of 12 or so modules that each dive deep into an aspect of women’s health and provides practical steps for you to take to improve each aspect. You can work through it from step one and march through it in order or you can pick and choose what you want to work on.
